How can organizations that want to manage innovation strike the right balance between unfocused activity and bureaucratic micro-management?  Markus Spiegel, Jonathan Stearn, and Wes Siegal recently examined six Schaffer Consulting cases that involved innovation and identified three factors that led to effective innovation.  These include, 1) coordinated effort, 2) in-depth information sharing, and 3) active trial and error.  Markus will present the findings in Barcelona at the International Society of Professional Innovation Managers (“ISPIM”) conference this month.
