Daniel Dworkin is a Partner with Schaffer Consulting with over a decade of cross-industry experience driving individual, team, and organizational performance.

Since joining Schaffer in 2011, Daniel has led results-oriented change initiatives with a major pharmaceutical business to accelerate strategy execution, a global insurance provider to restructure and take out cost, and an urban school district to improve student academic performance. Other recent engagements include guiding a large healthcare system through the successful roll-out of an electronic health record system (EHR), helping an international food services business to leverage the innovation capabilities of an acquired supplier, and supporting the executive team of a Fortune 50 aerospace organization to improve vision alignment and team effectiveness. Daniel is a principal member of Schaffer's Post-Merger Integration Practice. He has advised clients from the construction, food services, and financial services industries to assess deal readiness, develop integration strategies, and create and implement plans to achieve desired outcomes.

Prior to joining Schaffer, Daniel was a Senior Consultant and head of business development with Ketchum Change (formerly Stromberg Consulting) where he led change management projects focused on systems implementation, organizational redesign, and culture development with industry leaders like Dow Jones, GlaxoSmithKline, Kodak, McCormick, and Pfizer. He also spearheaded the 2010 Ketchum/FedEx Social Media Benchmarking Study that examined social media’s impact on top global brands including AT&T, GE, IBM, Kraft, and Pepsi. Daniel began his career in the classroom as a New York City Teaching Fellow and bilingual educator in the New York City public school system.

Daniel has helped leading healthcare, technology, retail, and food and beverage companies to successfully navigate change, drive innovation, and engage employees. He is also a skilled trainer and facilitator, equally effective collaborating with clients from the C-suite to the front line.

Daniel holds an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University, an MS in Bilingual Elementary Education from City College of New York, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
